A bagel with melted cheese and green pepper shamrock snack

What a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with your Kid in the Kitchen! These Shamrock Toasties from Family Fun Magazine are quick and easy to make (and yummy, too!), making them the perfect healthy St. Patrick's Day snack.

Easy and Healthy St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Toasties Snack for Kids

Ingredients:

Green pepper

Bagel or English Muffin

Cheddar Cheese

Instructions:

1. Slice a green pepper crosswise near the pointed end to get a small, three-lobed St. Patrick's Day shamrock shape. (If your pepper has four lobes, you've got a lucky clover instead!) Cut a small slice for a stem.

2. Toast half of the bagel or English muffin, then top it with a slice of cheese and the pepper shamrock. Place the muffin on a tray, then broil it in a toaster oven or regular oven until the cheese is melted.
